Ensure Marketing, Sales Stay on Same Page with Closed-Loop Marketing

Marketing and sales often have very different perspectives on what data is valuable when it comes to customers and sales leads. As a result, each tracks and measures different information, and each only has half a view of the complete picture.

Reference Compatibility Matrix before Updates

When applying any updates or service packs, always reference the most recent compatibility matrix at http://support.frontrange.com. As new patches come out, Goldmine and other products must go through testing and updates to accommodate for the new Windows environment and may not be supported for a period of time. For example, Goldmine is currently unsupported with Windows Server 2003 SP2, but is supported on SP1 and R2.

Editing or Deleting Record-Level Alerts

Here’s how to edit or delete record-level alerts:

  • Go to View>>InfoCenter
  • Under the KnowledgeBase tab, the System book, find the Contact Alerts folder. This allows contact alerts to be viewed, edited and deleted. 

They cannot be modified or deleted from the same place they are created. You must have a record alert in the system for the System book to appear in the KnowledgeBase.
